In this workshop you will learn to compassionately guide youth to balance, resilience, and awareness through yoga+mindfulness practices. This workshop is designed for adults who want to teach these mind-body balancing practices to kids and teens ages 3-16.
What we will cover:
Yoga postures and poses that can be used for energizing, calming, balance, and focus. We will cover various breathing practices, visualizations, meditations, and games to use in class or at home to build the muscle of attention.
Lesson plans-ways to structure sessions to engage kids in fun and unique ways that generate buy-in at any age
Learn how Social and Emotional learning is foundational to academic learning
How to improve emotional regulation and build attention
